Messaging
Only females are permitted to send the first message or ‘First Move’ on Bumble. It’s a feature that has attracted millions of women, tired of the harassment and unsolicited communication they receive on other dating apps.
Even ladies can only send a message to a user who they have matched with on the ‘Boom’ screen.
‘First Moves’ expire after 24 hours. This is meant to encourage people actually to communicate with each other.

Bumble relies on the extensive question and answer section, and we found it very difficult for the email address and phone number of the customer service team
Verification
Identity verification is encouraged on Bumble, and they have made it very easy to do. They simply require the member to mimic one of the 100 random poses and take a selfie. It is then sent to the customer support team, an actual person. Verification can be proudly displayed with a blue tick on a user’s profile page.
Protection from unsolicited nude photos
Bumble was the first dating app or site to develop the technology to blur any nude pictures sent through the site. The receiver can decide if they want to see the photo in all its ‘glory.’ The feature is called ‘Private Detective.’

Incognito mode
Incognito mode is discouraged, but you could switch off your location services on your device. If you do this, you’ll only be able to interact with the Bumble members who you have already connected with.
